We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Supervisor for our large Solar Farm project in NSW.

As the Mechanical Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all mechanical engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices;
  • Ensuring mechanical engineering project work is completed on time and within budget;
  • Preparing preliminary and detailed designs of mechanical and piping engineering projects and ensuring project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works;
  • Preparing documentation for standards, procedures and safe working practices;
  • Preparing maintenance planning for all project fixed and mobile plant, pipe works and pumps, and infrastructure;
  • Liaison with other department engineers and drafts-persons to ensure mechanical and piping project goals are met.

Whilst technical experience is of importance to us, to be considered for our talent pool and future positions, you will have:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree qualification;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Australian construction industry, with a strong Mechanical background;
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions;
  • Ability to problem solve and research innovative ways to reduce costs;
  • Willingness to work on a fly in, fly out roster rotation.
